Kobby Owusu-Acheampong
Corporate Accounting Manager
Kobby is responsible for leading the corporate accounting staff, assisting Treasury with check requests, reviewing financials, addressing incorrectly posted transactions prior to final close of the period, and preparing financial statements for senior leadership.
Kobby joins Peachtree Hotel Group with over 10 years of experience in accounting. Prior to Peachtree, Kobby began his accounting career in 2009 as a Staff Accountant with Bayerkohler & Graff LTD, CPA Firm (in Minnesota); Staff Accountant with Scout Media (in Minnesota); Accounting Manager with Universal Title & Financial Corp / Calhoun Truck Lines (in Minnesota); Senior Accountant with Supervalu Inc. (in Minnesota); Senior Accountant with Fairview Health Services (in Minnesota); and most recently, Accounting Manager with Rezolut Medical Imaging, LLC (in Atlanta, GA).
Kobby holds a Bachelor of Arts in Math Statistics with a minor in Computer Science from Luther College and a Master of Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. He successfully led and played an important role in accounting system conversions for previous two companies he worked for.
